Hello! I’m Danielle Steel, and I’ve been writing stories and drawing silly pictures since I was old enough to hold a crayon. (I wasn’t very good back then, but I had a lot of fun!)

I grew up in [City, State] where I spent most of my time reading books up in my favorite tree, convinced I could talk to squirrels. That’s probably why so many of my books are about talking animals!
